# How To Make It:
- Combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties approximately 3/4-inch thick. Create a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
- Heat grill or skillet over medium-high heat until properly hot.
- Grill patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness, flipping once during cooking. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the final minute and cover to melt.
- Lightly toast hamburger buns on the grill or skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Build each burger by placing lettuce on the bottom bun, adding the cooked patty, then layering with tomato, onion, pickles, and condiments of choice. Cover with the top bun.
- Serve immediately while hot with your preferred side dishes.
